  • Besides meetings and discussions the Milesians (or Milesian Club), beginning in 1963, published an annual journal of their philosophic writings entitled, Milesian Fragments. Some volumes have volume numbers listed, some do not. There are some variations in the title, which are noted in the listings.
  • The Milesians is a philosophic organization established on the campus of Union College, Barbourville, Kentucky, in November, 1959, through the efforts of a group of enthusiastic students, guided and encouraged by their advisor, Dr. Warren E. Steinkraus. The purpose of this society, as stated in its constitution, is “the discussion of problems of mutual concern in the field of philosophy and to promote within the members an interest in and a desire for further knowledge of philosophy.” (From the 1963 edition of Milesian Fragments).
